frequently asked questions

  • Yes! We host sensory hours every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 1pm - 3pm where we play ambient music and reduce noise as much as possible.

    We also love including all kiddos in our coached classes, and would be happy to talk to you about the best class for your kiddo based on their abilities! Just give us a call for more guidance.

  • It depends! We are typically comfortable allowing kids outside of the advertised age bracket into classes, but we would love to talk with you more about your kiddo’s abilities to ensure they can adequately participate and enjoy themselves!

  • All kinds! We are open to so much more than birthday parties. We can host any kind of private events where parents would enjoy themselves while their kiddos run around!

    Field trips, private classes, after school sports training, you name it! Send us an email or text with details about your private event and we’ll coordinate accordingly!

  • It’s not mandatory to make a reservation for the playground, however we do recommend that you make a reservation on snowy days and school closures as we often reach capacity quickly!

  • Sounds like they are ready for our amazing Moovers & Groovers classes! These classes for one to two year olds are an elevated version of the guided play you experience in Mommy & Me, with obstacle courses, group play time, and more! These classes occur every day of the week besides Thursdays and Sundays. Sign up now!

  • Although we reserve the classroom area for our Kickin’ It Classes, we do have the classroom open from 1pm - 3pm Monday through Wednesday and all day Thursday until 5pm. We will also open this up sporadically when classes aren’t taking place or we don’t have birthday parties booked!

  • Yes! An unlimited classes PLUS playground membership is only $184/month (a total value of $210!).

  • To withdraw from your membership, please fill out THIS FORM. Prior to completing this, please note that we require notification of intent to withdraw by the 20th of the month to finalize your membership by the last day of the month.

    Requests submitted on the 21st and thereafter will be granted but will also incur a $75 Late Withdrawal Fee.

  • We require a $250 deposit to hold your party date which will be applied to your total party cost, the remainder of which will be due the week before your event. We reserve the right to charge the card on file an additional $250 if any additional professional cleaning services are required or if any damaged items need to be replaced after your event.

    For any cancellation requests received within thirty days of your event, we will maintain the $250 deposit as a cancellation fee. For any cancellations within 48 hours of the event, we will charge the card on file the full cost of the event.

  • In order to protect the well-being of your child and other children, we require that you do not bring your child in when they are sick or exhibiting any of the following symptoms;

    Any symptom which inhibits their participation in the lesson

    Open oozing skin conditions

    Fever (above 100°F under the arm, above 101°F in the mouth, about 102°F in the ear)

    Diarrhea

    Vomiting

    Mouth sores caused by drooling

    Rash with fever, unless a physician has determined, and stated in writing, that it is not a communicable disease

    Pink or red conjunctiva with white or yellow eye discharge, until on antibiotics for 24 hours

    Impetigo, until 24 hours of treatment

    Strep throat, until 24 hours after treatment

    Head lice, until 24 hours after completion of treatment

    Scabies, until 24 hours after treatment

    Chickenpox, until all lesions have dried and crusted

    Whooping cough, until after 5 days of antibiotics

    Hepatitis A virus, until 1 week after immune globulin has been administered

    Unless

    The child's physician signs a note stating that the child's condition is not contagious and they are permitted to swim

    They have been free of fever, vomiting and diarrhea for 24 hours

    They have been treated with an antibiotic for 24 hours

    They are able to participate comfortably in all activities

    They are free of open, oozing skin conditions and drooling

  • Unless a parent expresses declined consent, it is understood that photos may be taken at Kickin; It facilities, and that any photo taken of children may be used for marketing (e-newsletters, announcements, TV, Facebook, Instagram, social media sites, etc.).

  • Food and beverages are not allowed on the playground or turf classroom area. Snacks and beverages can be stored and consumed in the lobby.

  • Kickin’ It Kids Gym prohibits the possession of firearms at its facilities and offices without the prior written consent of one of the owners of Kickin’ It, regardless of an individual possessing a concealed carry permit.

  • We do not tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind against our team members or clients.

  • All parents/guardians with children on the playground must supervise their children at all times, and assume full liability for their children and themselves while at Kickin’ It. Parents/guardians with children in classes are required to remain in the Virginia Village shopping center - we need to be able to reach you and have you return as soon as possible in case of an emergency. Please let a staff member know if you are leaving the building to visit one of the neighboring businesses or to wait outside.
